She first joined The Post as an intern on the General Assignment desk and has previously reported at the Miami Herald and el Nuevo Herald. In 2021, Paúl graduated from the University of Notre Dame, receiving degrees in political science and economics, with a minor in journalism, ethics and democracy. At Notre Dame, she served as talent and inclusion director, news writer and podcast host for the Observer, the university's independent, student-run newspaper.
