Jason Samenow has loved weather since he was a boy. At the University of Virginia, he earned a degree in environmental science, focusing in atmospheric science. He went on to earn a master’s degree in atmospheric science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2000. Samenow is The Washington Post’s weather editor.
