Drew Goins is an assistant editor in the Opinions section. He came to the paper as a summer intern on the news multiplatform desk in 2016 and worked on the news side for two years before coming to Opinions. Prior to The Post, he edited for the Virginian-Pilot in Norfolk, as well as the U.S. Department of Education.
